Donation for conservation
- Description
Inspired by our actions to Keep Byron Beautiful?
You don’t need to be a Byron Ranger to assist in our conservation efforts.
By making a donation to Byron Rangers, you can give our conservation projects the ultimate boost. Here are just a few projects your donations support:
Projects
Rainforest tree planting and regeneration. We have helped plant over 5,000 rainforest trees in the last 18 months
Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital - 750+ wildlife saved since November 2020 (and counting). We are Foundation Partners for the Hospital and provide landscaping services, weekly native food collection for the wildlife under care and other activities to support the vets who care for the animals
Tree planting and dune care / regeneration - 4 separate projects in the Byron Shire and 20,000+ trees planted ( in different ecosystems and areas)

Sea turtle conservation - 150+ Rangers do turtle conservation during the annual sea turtle nesting season to identify and protect sea turtle nests. We undertake important citizen science research to monitor beaches and sand dunes to ensure they are healthy for nesting season
Bush regeneration - 14 separate projects in Byron Bay, Ballina and Brunswick Heads to care for different ecosystems
Installing wildlife nesting boxes for possums, gliders and other native wildlife (after losing their homes in bushfires)
Training more wildlife rescuers in the area - 100+ wildlife rescued by Rangers
