Meet the Team!
Ranger Deano - Founder / CEO
Having grown up in Yamba, Woolgoolga (Woopi) and the Northern Rivers area, moving back to the area inspired a change in direction and to follow his heart to do this sort of thing full time. Deano holds the world record with some mates for the “worlds biggest green drinks” on earth (big party for people who care about our planet) and created an environmental network in Melbourne that grew from start up to a national footprint. Before that he had 20 years with global consulting companies KPMG, Russell Reynolds Associates, Korn/Ferry & others wearing suits and hanging with lots of sucessful CEOs. Deano is much happier in tradie gear leading a team of passionate conservationists making a positive impact on our community.
Ranger Holly - Events Marketing Coordinator
Born in Florida, USA Holly is extremely passionate about climate action and ocean conservation. All starting when she was 10 years old with a polar bear named Nanuk… She soon learned her favourite animal was endangered from melting ice, the environmentalist in her was immediately activated. Holly is an events powerhouse, driving and leading multiple paddle-outs across Australia for Surfrider over the past few years to protest against oil and gas exploration. We are absolutely frothing to have her on the team and overseeing all of our Ranger events.
A young man that loves anything to do with the beach. Passionate about ocean conservation and with a strong heart to serve, Ryan grew up in the rolling fields of the hinterlands on the outskirts of Byron. With an eagerness to learn and strong ability to adapt quickly, our Rangers family is delighted to have him in our team.
